Sorry it took us so long to post some pics of the new house but we didn't have internet hooked up until last wednesday. I think we are finally settling down and realizing this is it. We have lots of plans and ideas for the house, but first we need to get some new furniture, next weekend will be all about Ikea!
This weekend, Jay's friend from college Ryan was in town. It was a beautiful weekend so these are pictures from outside (picture of inside the house to come very soon)
On friday, the guys went around town, visiting the Dallas Modern Art Museum and the Nasher sculpture center (pictures later) and on saturday, we went to Fort Worth to visit the Modern Art museum and the Stockyards, and of course we had a drink at Sundance square (we did go see a very bad movie, but that's another story...) Sunday was relaxing with brunch at Jeng Chi and then a nap at the Arboretum.

La maison a l'air super sympa, plein pied, une jolie petite entrèe, des arbres... nous avons hâte de voir l'interieur. Bonne chance à Ikea pour l'ameublement.

Oui on a Ikea ici aussi. On a regarde dans des vrais magasins de meubles (si je peux m'exprimer ainsi) mais on aime rien, du coup on reste avec Ikea!

Enfin les photos ! Quelle belle maison, vous avez bien choisi. J'adore le hamac dans le jardin j'ai hâte de venir y faire une petite sieste. J'attend avec impatience de voir l'intérieur de la maison. Je suis heureuse pour vous 2. Tu me manques.

have fun at IKEA! i love that store! i could spend hours in there, especially shopping in the marketplace section. if you ever need a shopping buddy the next time you go to IKEA, let me know (as my husband hates going there)! i haven't been there in a while...
