Movie Night at Victory Park

Victory Park is the area around the American Airlines center, home of the Mavericks. It's a pretty nice place and last year giant screens were installed. So now, every tuesday during summer time, it's outdoor movies.
We went to see Back to the Future, it was great! We had a little picnic and wine and really enjoyed the movie.

Fort Worth Modern Art Museum - Part III

Fort Worth Modern Art Museum - Part II

Fort Worth Modern Art Museum - Part I

We love going to this great museum, the building itself is art, it has a great design. This time we went with our friends Brad and Adam especially to see the Ron Mueck exhibit. It was great, the exhibit was incredible even though it was a little disturbing, we really liked it.
Then we wandered around the building which is always a great pleasure and took lots of pics and after that we went for lunch to a little burger joint, it was a great day!

This AIDS Walk is organised by AIDS Arms Inc. which is a non profit organisation based here in Dallas and whose purpose is to help people leaving with AIDS/HIV to access healthcare and support. Our goal is to raise $5,000.

Texas Longhorn Cattle Drive

In Pioneer plaza, downtown Dallas, the world's largest bronze sculpture, created by artist Robert Summers, depicts a cattle drive of 3 cowboys and 50 steers. It's not far from our place and we drive by very often, the place is always full of people and it's a shame we never posted about it before.

Family visit

This last month we didn't post because my family was in town. They arrived on the 29th of July, just for my birthday, and left today. For lots of pics of their trip in Dallas and through West Texas, go to my Dad's blog.
